Introduction
Our church, Good Shepherd Parish at Pendleton and St. Augustine Campus at Clarence Center are far more than just bricks and
mortar. Our parish consists of our pastor and parishioners of both worship sites. We are Roman Catholic in the Diocese of Buffalo,
a unique unit among the vast communion of saints - a union embodying our earthly members, those already in heaven and in purgatory.
We are the past, present, and future parishioners who are earning, awaiting, or already have had a first glimpse of the beatific
vision.
The Good Shepherd Church in Pendleton, NY had its beginning through the first Catholic farmers in Pendleton who carved out
cultivating space from the wilderness. Their descendants, and the descendants of those who filtered into Pendleton over the
past one hundred and seventy years formed the body of the church.
